Tool Overview

pdfminer.six is the community maintained fork of the original PDFMiner tool. Unlike standard text extractors, it focuses entirely on analyzing the visual and structural layout of a PDF, detecting font styles, exact kerning, line heights, bounding coordinates, and hierarchical paragraph groupings.
